You tryna give out some lessons?

Great job. Work on replicating your approach and your contact and the scores will get lower as you get more comfortable shooting low scores.

One year, when I was struggling, I went to the red tees and played them until I broke par, or broke 75, or broke 80, etc. Then I moved to the whites and set a similar goal and finally the blues. You learn to score, you feel better, you gain confidence and there is a workable goal.

Could use some help with an awkward dynamic.

My Dept has been tapped to help another dept promote a DEI study. The client dept has hired a consultant in this area. The challenges I see with this consultant's work style:

-dominating conversations
-micromanaging things outside her area
-steering things toward her own promotion over our company's agenda
-people in my dept (mostly white) are visibly uncomfortable and reluctant to interrupt or contradict her (black woman)

Question: I have a client who started a restaurant. He leased the land and bought shipping containers where he spent money contracting out to turn them into bars. I’m having a tough time determining how to depreciate this! First thought was leasehold but he’s not making improvements to a structure...he owns the structure! But nonresidential real estate at 27.5 years doesn’t make sense either as it’s not a brick and mortar building. Curious on others thoughts! TIA

I’m looking at lessons with a pro. They offer packs of 30 min (6-pack) and 60 min (3-pack) sessions. Is there a benefit to one over the other? Is 30 too short or 60 too long?

I’ve never taken lessons before, just played my whole life. I’m a mid 80s golfer trying to get more consistent and break into the high 70s.

First tee time of the year is tomorrow afternoon!
