Hello fishes, I joined Pwc in nov, but since then has been on only 1 project which was just for 3 weeks. Is this a serious issue as the utilization will be low? And ideally putting bench code for all these days or should it be a mix of training and bench code. Please advice. TIA!
I’ve built a strong pipeline of work with my current client, establish great rapport, and likely will continue to see more work being sold. But, I’m just over my current project and been on it far too long (running on 1.5 years). I think it’s time for another M to take over the team and I join a new project. I’m at the point where I’ve done all I can do. I feel as though I’m part of the client now, and that’s not why joined consulting. Would it look bad to ask and roll off?
New members, at what point do the antics get insulting and embarrassing for you? Or you still stand behind these? “The 21-page ruling by the Third Circuit Court of Appeals was a complete repudiation of Mr. Trump’s legal effort to halt Pennsylvania’s certification process and was written by a judge that he himself appointed to the bench”
On bench and got called for a federal project. Sounds interesting but should I avoid it as an entry level analyst?
I'm ~7 months into my new role at Accenture. During the time I accepted the offer, I also had one from Slalom. Accenture hasn't been that great. I'm not doing the work I would like and there's just a bunch of other BS on the side for me to deal with. Sat on the bench for my first 4 months and then they put me on a staff aug project...I feel like I made the wrong decision. (Cont)
On the bench and anxious! Does everyone have a project lined up immediately after a project ends even if that project weren't the top choice?
Hit the bench after covid, had 2 projects go into the void, util & perf above b4, but now will be 10-15% below target. Promo year. Did my networking & training but feel like I'll get axed Q2. Advice?
Aah that bittersweet feeling when you wrap up a demanding project on the last day of FY17 and roll into FY18 on the bench 😺😿
Hi Fishes, Is it mandatory to go to office in CG as part of hybrid model even though we are on bench? Please suggest
Anyone else hate being on the bench for more than one week? The anxiety becomes real when there's nothing to do and no PRD to assist with. 😞 #cantwaitformonday
Hi usi fishers, need an input. My base location is delhi, but I will travel to Mumbai and work from there for few weeks. As I am on bench (due to ongoing client BGV), I may travel to outskirt of Mumbai and work from there as well. Considering this situation, should I really need to update location as Mumbai and submit the dte? As I am already claiming internet reimbursement for delhi home, will it create any conflict/ red flag? Pls suggest.
Roll off date is 1/27. Working from home this week because I'm sick. Next week is a short week. I hope they don't extend me.
I've been released from my project in tata consultancy services, i have >1 year of experience, that means i have to pay bond amount of 50k. Do i need to serve notice period while I'm on bench now or is there a way of not serving notice period. ?
Anyone on the bench ever just not do anything? Like not even turn on their computer because they have absolutely nothing to do?
Hi Fishes, Anyone who joined PwC AC Bangalore recently and is/was on bench for 2-3 months? I'm worried about getting "FIRED". Does PwC fire in such cases? Connected with Deployer, Coach and RL many times they say I should wait and need not worry whenever requirement will come they will inform me. I have been on bench for 2+ months now.

What are some techniques to enhance a team-member's performance? Have a new analyst who is not the fastest one but not hopeless. Want to make sure he succeeds.
Advice when benched & PPMDs reach out with new potential staffing opportunities, accept anything? Or are there techniques you use ensuring it matches your skills/interest/type of client, and say no respectively if not? Feel I can’t be too picky right now. Don’t want to set myself up for failure either. Only recently benched.

Is it so terrible to ask for another month between jobs? I asked for 1.5 months but my bg check didn’t clear until now and now I’m exactly 2.5 weeks away from my start date. I asked for another month but I’m not getting positive responses :(
Has anyone ever been able to do a United status challenge? I only see status match as an option. No other status and I fly DC to NY every week... will only ever make gold with segments if that
