For that kind of cash I'd rather buy a nice leather recliner and just let the baby fall asleep on my chest. At least then I'd still have the recliner when the baby gets older.
900$ all in for snoo right now on sale
Resell for 600
300 for 6 months = 50 bucks a month.. 2 hours of extra sleep per night
Easy decision .. if it works I’ll keep, if not it will be returned
OMG I had no idea what a snoo was until I just looked it up. Why would anyone spend $1300 on something like that when you can just get a Graco pack and play for less than $100? They do mb the same thing.
Nope. SNOO is barely similar to pack n play
Meh, to me it's just another gadget. My son was sleeping for 8 straight hours by the time he was 3 months old, and we didn't have any of this fancy stuff.
SNOO is amazing. Wait until holidays and it goes on sale for $750. You and your SO will be thankful at 3am after you’ve fed your baby that you can put the baby straight to bed.
It’s 850 right now on sale!
Snoo on sale 40% off for Black Friday bringing it down to 700s!
YES. Loved it. Daughter sleeps like a champ. Resold it after 6mo for $500.
Was she able to sleep okay after it was gone?
Yup transition was super easy. Kept the white noise and snoo sack for a bit
Each kid is different, try a week or two without it the re-evaluate?
Yes
We just used a dock a tot and a hatch white noise machine. Worked well.
Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I never used any of this junk for babies to sleep. They were just put down to sleep and for the most part they did.
I did the same thing for all four of my kids, and never had any issues. The only white noise my kids ever heard was me vacuuming right next to their crib while they slept.
So what is the difference between a $1300 snoo and a $100 pack and play that can be used for newborns and older (with the adjustable height of the sleep pad)? I just don't see it.
Rocking wasn’t needed as much but just had a hatch and you can create your own program and adjust sound level so if they started crying I would just raise it. A bit more manual but worked for us.
The snoo is 845 right now— apparently it shakes in various levels of frequency depending on the babies cry’s.. the intent is to replace a night nurse
Can’t seem to find it for under $1200. Where do you guys find it for below $900?
They had a sale that ended inholloween for 35% off..before that it was 40% off which I missed
