I’ve worked at AT&T as a sales consultant for 6 years and 8 months where we prospect, uncover, and close on leads. I’ve used Salesforce for the past 4 years during my tenure. I’ve done B2B sales where I’ve received awards for it for 2 years consecutively. Loads of troubleshooting, uncovering needs through consultative styled selling, and tech app subscriptions.

I’m in it for the long haul because I’m really like that
There are a lot of ghost jobs being posted, but I don't think that's any reason to quit. I mean, the reason counterfeit money exists is because real money exists. So there must be real jobs out there. Go find them! It might be more difficult than it used to be, but it's always something, right?
If you’re a consultant and want to quit, doing at the junior levels is easier than at the senior levels. There are far more Corporate jobs at the associate level than at the manager or director level. You shouldn’t struggle too much to get interviews if you’re from a well regarded group. Now closing on it might be very difficult currently
Depends on the industry
Ultimately, the decision of whether to stay in consulting is a personal one. It's important to weigh the potential risks and rewards based on your individual goals and values.
Ghost jobs are being posted in every industry though, not just this one. At the end of the day you have to do what is best for you and what you enjoy doing. If you aren't enjoying this anymore then maybe it is time to look for something else..
How am I only learning about this now, never heard of a ghost job posting
