Depends a bit on what your interests and experiences are. Customer Success is a nice entry point if you enjoy the client relationship side of consulting. Project management, product management, and program management are all areas where former consultants might go as well. It just depends on what you're good at and how well you can spin your experience to be relevant.

Product management jobs are really difficult to get for me- out of college, it was my first choice job but each listing required experience I didn’t have. How should I counter this?

Depends on what you want to do! Can’t really answer your question if you don’t know what kind of work you like doing and want to keep doing after leaving consulting.

I ended up becoming a PM because I’m obsessed with the end-user experience (I cared about patients and physicians the most while as a consultant) and wanted to be able to design solutions for them.

Customer success / implementation manager / deployment strategist (all similar roles) tend to do really well with people who like project management work (aligning the team on deadlines and ensuring work gets delivered on time).

Business development or alliance management for people who really liked working with clients on a strategic level, like brainstorming and scoping out projects.

Business/Strategy operations if you like streamlining processes for teams or also wearing a bunch of hats (essentially a “do whatever needs to be done” type of role, depending on the company, while also contributing to strategy/business decisions)

Lots of business analyst / data analyst roles if you liked the forecasting / analytics side of the consulting job.

Komodo health comes to mind

Hello,
Can we get promotion after the mid year review in CitiusTech?
Or the promotion for the mid year already done?
I see for many people the designation has changed but for me it's not. I was under the impression that the promotion happens after the mid year discussion or after the year end discussion.
Can someone please tell the details and when we can expect the new revised letter mentioning the new designation.

Hi! I have recently taken a step back from my Doctorate in Physical Therapy and am trying to find my next move. My family keeps recommending medical sales, my bank account recommends finishing the degree that cost me an arm and a leg, and my heart is conflicted in so many areas of interest - PT, Psych, sales, etc. I am currently working as a patient care technician but do not see this as my end goal. Any recommendations on sales vs PT vs psychology vs really anything? Thank you!!

Anyone who visited Turkey, did you need travel insurance?

So I was offered a role in Strategy Consulting in after 2 years in Risk Consulting however, after 2 years I’ve only worked on Internal audit engagements few ad hocs such as updating risk register and the delegation of authority matrix.

Honestly speaking I am doing good and I am up for promotion in October however I am not fully enjoying my time but I fear that the move would not be a good and I can’t hit the ground running which scares me.

Any advice and past experiences in such career shit?

Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was hoping to get some thoughts on this from others? Thanks
