Not necessarily, as long as your experience is relevant that’s what matters. Is it harder to be recognized? Of course, but they hire based on experience and interview performance- academic pedigree, while a consideration isn’t a deciding factor
Non target school, not the greatest GPA and here I am. They are looking for smart people and problem solvers who are curious, structured and bring good energy to their teams.. school doesnt matter anymore.

Nah if your resume is strong enough otherwise you can get an interview. And once you get an interview it’s the same playing field as anyone else.
You shouldn't cross MBB off altogether, but you should be realistic. Maybe your chances are now 1 in 20 instead of 1 in 5.

No. T2 and MBB took like 10 people from DAs and NOn-das from KPMG last year. It’s totally possible
The job market has changed. It is not as hot as it was 6-9 months ago. Everyone was poaching and hiring from all firms. Not in same position right now with many firms preparing for recession and pipeline drying up.
