Rules for thee not for me!

When is the good time to tell the company that I am 3 months pregnant. My date of joining is 18th of July. I understand by law I need to finish 80days with the company before I avail maternity benefits which I can easily do in next 3 months.
I want to understand if women who go on maternity leave during probation are treated differently or if there will be discrimination once I let them know about my situation. Wipro Accenture Allstate Quantiphi analytics pvt ltd.

I would think taking off to avoid the conversation is probably a bad idea. Put your big boy pants on and take what's coming. Learn from it and do better in your next role.
Who knows. You may be pleasantly surprised.
Female/male. Be MECE please.
Go handle the conversation with grace, log off at 5pm, and start job hunting vigorously.
Some environments are impossible to succeed in, so don’t blame yourself and focus on what’s next / growth
This is what I’d do. Some toxic teams have you questioning your own worth while making every day living hell and waking up in the morning the most miserable decision. Have the conversation without internalizing it. Learn from it. Move on.
Seems like a tactical move, but the PIP doesn’t go away? Or you were rolling off a PIP and back to good standing? Sounds like you may not be fit for the role or need to find a different team.
Good idea but I am also thinking why not take advantage of the short term leave when I have the opportunity? It gives me time to focus and hunt for a new job
Take the leave but find another job! During your leave search for another job.
Even if I am off the PIP I do not plan to ever work with this team. It’s been 6 weeks of hell.
I recommend going away on your leave. There is no point in taking the manager meeting if you don't foresee anything improving.
Some managers have their mind set and there is not a lot that you can do about it
Take Friday as a sick day. The worst case scenario is that you are going to get let go on Friday anyway, so taking another day won't really cost you anything anyway, and could provide time for your leave to be approved. Btw, consider FMLA in case STD is not approved. The bar for approval is lower because it is likely unpaid.
It depends on your personality. If you’re going to obsess over the decision while you’re taking time off, I’d say finish the conversation and wrap it up. If you can go ahead and take time off without overthinking it, take the time off. It’s pointless to take time off if you’ll spiral and re-think everything
Just my two cents though! I’m sorry you’re even in this situation
OP are you taking the break to protect you from being fired? If so they may not approve the break? Is it a paid break?

Start looking for a new position now

For what it’s worth, if you are being let go on Friday, you taking Friday off isn’t going to change anything. You will still be fired.
Since have filed for disability, you may have some legal protection, but it varies by state so an attorney will probably be needed
Sorry to hear that OP. I had another colleague get PIP about 3 years ago. She is doing great in her new role. I tried helping when she was on PIP especially by getting her into BD and other initiatives. Overall her PML wasn’t onboard to keep her.

I think you’ve created a great strategy. When you’re off, start looking for new work
