Hi everyone!
I've been offered a job at Publicis Sapient as a front-end developer (React Js).
What kind of work culture, work load and tech stack exposure should I be expecting?
I'm having 1 year experience.
I've also got offers from IndiaMART InterMESH Limited, Amdocs, Verizon and Collegedunia.
All for the role of front-end web developer.
I'm very confused between all of them.

Been let go from two agencies from lost clients. I feel comfortable saying that because otherwise they may assume you were fired. Agencies definitely understand, it happens to everyone.
It’s a perfectly acceptable explanation is my experience. The ebb and flow of agency life. Everybody gets it. Agencies hire when they’re hot and fire (lay off) when they’re not. Cycle of life.
Yes to all 3. It takes some getting used to. But overall the lay-off isn’t your fault. And the new employer will 100% understand. Don’t let what happened take away from your experience and skills. Keep going.
Chances are it has happened to the person you are interviewing with too. It is that common.

This happened to me at my first agency job, five months into it I was laid off because of losing a client. I was so nervous about finding new work since I didn’t even have an agency background prior to that job, but luckily every place I interviewed was sympathetic and it didn’t affect my ability to find new work. They understood it was just shitty timing.
I managed to network based on the friendships I made at my first agency, which led to being interviewed at 4 large established agencies, and getting two offers.
✋
Was laid off. Was frank about it. People understand
People understand. Don’t over explain yourself, to the point and unapologetic. That’s the best approach.
🤚 x 3. Always on a Wednesday. 🤷🏻♀️
3x. Not an issue.
I’m sure this thread is going to blow up tomorrow because WPP confirmed they lost the Ford Creative business and they have a meeting at 10am EST tomorrow which will be streamed globally. Should be interesting...
“Caught up in downsizing” and moving on in the conversation was my way to go. Most employers get it.
👍🏽
Hell yeah: happened twice to me:
Several times; it’s really no big deal if it had nothing to do with your individual performance. This happened to me early in my career, and honestly it was a fantastic learning experience
Yes, never been an issue. It happens.
As of this week, I plan to use that exact explanation in every interview I will soon be scheduling. Not worried about saying it, either.
