Has anyone here participated in the year long remote year program? My company is fully remote in the US and is in general supportive of me going but concerned about local and international tax liability. Remote year doesn’t share tax advice and our HR team is small. Curious to hear from people at companies who have done it before and if there were any issues from a tax or payroll perspective. Trying to get the formal approval from my company before officially signing up, advice welcome!

Does a new joiner get WFH setup allowance? I just got an offer but it is not written there.

I started my new job completely remotely in June and when we go back to the office, it would be a 1.2 hour, 40-mile one way commute.. Would it be entitled of me to ask to come into the office 3x/week since by the time that we return to the office, I’ve already proven that I can work efficiently from home? I feel like it’s a much more sustainable option.

Anyone please let me know if its still WFH in Atos? Or Hybrid mode (how many days in a week)?

My joining is on 11th July. I believe I have to collect the laptop from Camac street on joining date. But after laptop collection, should I WFH as the Technopolis office is not ready? Also, how much time does it take on first day for all the formalities? After laptop collection and formalities, I am planning to return to my hometown which is 250 km away.

HR opinion: Do I have any leverage as a hospital nurse case manager in negotiating earned time? I have 15 years within the organization, left for 10 months to be remote during the pandemic while sorting out childcare as immunocompromised family helped. Now HR is restarting my ET as a new employee. I realize I left, but not on bad terms and I am an exemplar and respected employee. Im a RN and took on a new role working in Home Health. I chose this position because My husband & I recently moved to PA with our 2 kids (1&3), with no family available for his residency program with a hospital. How do you handle remote teams being in different time zones? Right now we have a ton of team leaders on the west coast with the core team on the east coast and because of that urgent requests keep coming down after hours with the expectation to address it immediately.
