I have had several rounds of interviews for a role at Visa London office. When I reached out to the HR to check on progress/status after what they called the "final round", they said everything is positive and then set up another round with the hiring manager last week. TBH, that round seemed as if they want to make sure I have understood the job well. And there has been radio silence after that. Any idea how to read this? I have another offer and deliberating if i should just accept that.

Bain & Company Is anyone else getting their application to Bain & Company pushed backed?
As of yesterday, even though I applied in May, and that while they liked my application, they will not be considering me till early 2023.
This is the second time they pushed back their consideration... 😞

Might be helpful to just remember that the HR team is not really representative of any of these companies and it’s the consulting staff and leadership that will generally matter in your daily life. Not sure what you can do - maybe try calling after you’ve waited a few days, they’re probably inundated (I guess it’s a busy time for HR teams too dealing with COVID policies as well as hiring sprees) but can’t begrudge you being a little pushy for some kind of response.
FYI HR is slammed right now. It’s even been tough for me internally to get a response quickly
Yep, HR is crazy busy with COVID return to office, wrapping up recruiting season in general, probably dealing with the great resignation, EOY firm-wide performance reviews coming up… I think it’s okay to be pushy bc they are being slow but wouldn’t worry!
Thanks for your responses!
