Since the last KD’s speech at offsite. I have seen a change attitude change in my manager he has started to get very pushy with the demands, has started micromanaging nowdays which is super frustrating and annoying. And we are forced to work beyond our work hours no personal life at all. This is really heights. This is causing mental trauma and stress.
In terms of work life balance dtdl has started to lose it’s reputation. It high time need to start looking for other opportunities in market.

How is wlb, I know mine is going to be client facing and that I would be expected to do more that just project work but does that mean I would have to work on getting projects for practice or how it will be?

I work in deals and am frankly frustrated that those with 9-5s can get better GMAT scores with their schedules while I have to work around an unpredictable schedule at 80 hrs/week.

Im a RN and took on a new role working in Home Health. I chose this position because My husband & I recently moved to PA with our 2 kids (1&3), with no family available for his residency program with a hospital. If you know that life, I’m pretty much the main parent for our kids. I don’t want to work in the hospital/floor work anymore; nor do I believe the hrs are flexible enough. I need a job that’s flexible for the kids but pays >$44/hr. Maybe remote or hybrid? Please help w/ suggestions.

Has anyone went from public accounting to the government(IRS) or vice versa? Been at the IRS as a revenue agent for about 6 years now , currently a GS-13 in NYC. Hi!! I’m an HR Coordinator currently (about two years of experience) but my job has so many responsibilities and tasks I’m beyond burnt out. It’s truly impossible to focus on one task because things are constantly being thrown my way. I’ve heard whisperings of a promotion or raise, but my workload is already too much, I don’t know if I’d want to accept more responsibility. Is it normal to feel like you have just as many responsibilities as your superiors who make 30k+ more than you?
