it took me weeks to get the official letter cuz the firm was deciding on the level
Same here - I had RSUs in my previous company that hadn’t vested so they had to get additional approvals to put those in the offer letter. Took me about 2 weeks from the moment I got the verbal offer until I got the written offer.
All our HR departments are understaffed at the moment. So enjoy and lean back. If Accenture doesn't take your, there are a lot of fish tanks 😏
Just speculation - but with our own PA process occurring right now as well (we are in the comp admin part atm) I could see why this part is taking a bit longer for offer formulation. They could be waiting for new guidance to come on pay bands so as to not need to adjust you after joining? Unsure. Things take a while in general with our HR folks tho.
how long?
3 weeks so far.

Check your spam box. My FAANG offer letter went to the spam folder. Even though it was from the email of the recruiter I had been communicating extensively with. I sent a follow up and she was like what are you talking about?
Chief
I'd recommend reminding them that you have other offers in writing but prefer to work at ACN (Idk why... But that's your choice... I guess).
That will hurry things up
Sounds like a red flag to me. Once the req is open, funding has been approved, so the offer letter should only have to go through a final approval before issue. Ask yourself, would they let you take weeks to return a response to an offer?
I’ve read that background checks are taking longer than usual lately.

Offer letter comes before that chief.
Workday is to blame for this. It’s happening to a lot of people. Make sure they still give you a reasonable amount of time from when you receive your written offer to accept
Agree with this
My written offer took a couple of weeks back in 2018. Has the start date been decided?
This happened to me as well, took almost a month to get my written offer. It will come eventually, takes a ridiculous amount of time.
Yeah, had the same happen to me a few months back. They couldn't decide the level (but had committed to the $$) and things took a while to work through the leadership. Verbal offer to written took about 6 weeks.
Ultimately came in a level below where $$ would've pegged me but oh well.
Par for the course
I got my written offer within 24 hours. Keep looking elsewhere my friend
Maybe they are prioritizing counter offers for employees who are trying to leave 🤣 i am employees
There's a bit of a hiring pause. Rest assured your hiring manager is fighting HR like hell to get an exception for your formal offer. Nobody likes losing good talent except HR it seems.
