I had an online assessment round at Intuit and then a technical round. Both went good. But its been 15 days I am yet to hear back from them. Does intuit send closure/rejection email or is it just implicit? also what is the cooling period for intuit ? and what should be the expected ctc if things go right? McKinsey & Company Bain & Company Hiiii! I’ve been at my job for a year and a couple of months now & I’ve gotten rather bored because the work is repetitive, not challenging, and hasn’t really allowed me to learn or grow as much as I would’ve liked to. Given how I’m still paying a ton of money for my postgrad in Business Comms (that I haven’t really gotten the chance to use), I’ve been thinking of entering the world of consulting. Any word of advice? PwC McKinsey & Company Bain & Company Boston Consulting Group KPMG

Get certified for sure you’ll be making six figures. You deserve better than $65K as a PM! Good luck 😊

Hard to see a downside to Ed / Certs. As a hiring manger, I value experience, expertise, and attitude over certs or degrees. In my experience in the agency world, there is no diff in salary for a person with or without certs. There def are shops, agencies and others that require them. Good luck.
Congratulations firstly on the role. I would recommend doing it sooner than later. A lot of times it's a pre requisite when applying for jobs and if not that it would eventually help you in your day to day activities.
Do it sooner! You definitely deserve wayyyyy more than 65k. The PMP will set you up for your next role and you’ll easily make double what you currently make. Best wishes!
DEFINITELY get it! I got my PMP in 2012 and was making $75k - I'm now a Senior Program Manager en route to be director of a PMO any I'm making $145k. The PMP was game changer in switching companies and teams. 🙂
