So I was hired as an admin assistant for store facilities at my company... Couple of things happened (turnover)! So I landed squarely in HVAC doing all of our budgeting, writing legal letters to the landlords who don't want to pay for repairs, coding and remitting all of our HVAC bills , finding contractors to do installs, keep track of all our monthly contracts for preventive maintenance, and dispatching all of our service calls . It's a great job, it keeps me busy, but am I an admin assistant?

I never do this but I need some objective advice. My wife is 5mo pregnant and my sister is getting married. Wedding was adjusted because of COVID but she set the date knowing I might not be able to attend as I’d have to fly there. Hey! I’m new here and would like some input. I’ve been working in a new position for almost 5 months. In that time I’ve witnessed some unethical and lots of unprofessional behavior. I’ve been yelled at and berated by my coworker 3 separate times because of minor errors. I’m ready to quit. There are so many major issues in this company that I don’t know if I want to subject my mental health to this degree of toxicity. I just don’t know how to move forward from here.
