You must be misreading the slide. 9% would be an extremely small bonus for a tier 1 director
The slide explicitly said it was an example and did not represent actual targets.
I’m looking at the replay slides sent to all RLs.
OP what do you think is more likely? Tim Ryan himself was repeatedly wrong about how big the bonus pool would be, or this random slide a random HR person flashed up for a minute in a webcast was wrong

I’m not misreading the slide. That’s why it’s such a huge change. Moving to cohort model for associates this year in tax and other levels later. The slide shows all level T3s except A1s getting 2%. A1 tier 3s get 1%.
It doesn’t sound like the 5% was an advance anymore. They haven’t mentioned anything about it affecting July raises at least
I think that was just an illustration. When she showed that page, she said, “You may see something like this...”. I took that to mean they were made up for that pitch
I discussed it with my partner and he is sure that was wrong. The bonus pool they approved in April is bigger than that.
