Why are people so quiet in here?
Hi, Anyone got update on renegotiation with IBM?
Diwali gift scene at GDS??
Can someone guide on this?

I’d rather quit than revise this agreement.

Self-pity is a hallmark of alcoholism, beating yourself up only serves to stroke that alcoholic ego of yours, and yet again, make sure that you are at the center of your story.
You drank because that's what alcoholics do, focus that energy on what more you can be doing to make another slip unlikely.
Next time consider if you are really ready to put yourself in a peer pressure situation. At some point you’ll have to of course but maybe with more days under your belt first so it’s easier and with a strategy on how you’ll handle the situation when you do (arrive/ departure time and what will you drink instead)
One day at a time my friend. You are not alone!

It happens. Don't beat yourself up, because you had 20 one days at a time. That's great. You're right where you're supposed to be, read on to learn how to build more defenses.
Don’t beat yourself up! Most of us have relapsed. You’re good!! Just keep going. You have a program, support, community, sponsor?

At some point my FOMO turned into JOMO; the “Joy Of Missing Out.” In certain situations I’m just going to be uncomfortable, and if I have a choice of whether to be in that situation, I opt to avoid it. It’s tough when the choice is to hang out with friends who drink, but my sobriety is worth more than a disappointed friend (or potentially a consequence a lot more serious).
You will be fine ..one day at a time....
