My dad died from liver failure. We tried everything to help him
I’m sorry for your loss. In a similar position now. Trying to ignore because it was his own doing for 40 years.. but idk anymore
My father died from it as well. There was literally nothing to do to help him.
Arrest, jail, rehab, nothing worked. And he was a somewhat prominent person in our area during the height of his career. A top chef, started at a very famous restaurant here before opening his own which catered to celebrities, athletes, politicians, high power people. He was friends with many of them. Nobody could help, nothing changed in him.
It was very sad, very frustrating and scary since I grew up with it. I’m over it now and feel as though I’m glad he died fairly young. Selfish, maybe, but I couldn’t be pulled down for my entire life, when he made no attempt to improve his own.
I’m sorry for loss. This resonates deeply.
My sister died last month. I posted about it here. She had liver failure I can tell you much more than you ever want to know. It turns into kidney failure very quickly and that makes things go downhill quickly. My sister went into cardiac arrest and died. Feel free to dm me
