Hey fishes, completed 3 tech rounds at Bosch.
Last tech + managerial round was on 10th Nov. Got HR call on 17th Nov. Told my expected package and she didn't seem to have any issue. On 22nd Nov, got a call from the consultant at taggd who has been arranging all my interviews. Told my expected CTC and she seemed a bit surprised but didn't negotiate and asked if I have any other offers? I asked when can I expected the OL, she said within a week but didn't take any documents. Can I expect the OL?

What is EBA IN Bosch?

Made it to the on-site round for a Sales S&O interview. However, both of the interviewers are Managing Directors of Sales. I thought they would be other S&O managers. How would this affect interview questions (e.g would GCA case studies be sales focused?) how can I best prepare for this given a lack of a sales background.

- fairly decent place to work (from someone who worked with the Vancouver and San Jose offices). never met a blue badger (permanent employee) who had awful things to say.

- Ashley Goodall (their SVP, Methods & Intelligence) co-authored a brilliant book on leadership and people management called “Nine Lies About Work” that makes me believe they can be an awesome place to work

Cons:

- red badgers had low morale since they’re contract workers and can be terminated at any time

How do you “turn off” your teacher brain at the end of the day? I’m having a hard time disconnecting from the stress of the day and all of the issues I run into with students, parents, etc.

Should I try talking to another teacher that has been making my life difficult? At today’s optional after school meeting she said I was keeping her past her contractual time... it was optional!!!

What is the biggest problem your facing right now professionally that is effecting you personally?

2015 $85/month towards health ins. 2019 $622/month. It’s sad that in a profession that requires a college education our take home decreases over time. Thanks NJ. Can’t wait to find a new career!!!

How is everyone taking time to indulge in Self Care now that most of us are either about to go back to work, or have started back up with students? I’m having mixed feelings of going back on my end and would love to hear how others are feeling too!
