I have recently joined EY SaT group as senior consultant recently in Netherlands. I’m tripple masters in MS economics, MBA and MS business analytics. Have 4 YOE in different industries but no M&A experience specifically. Any ideas what company should be offering me? I’ll be working as expert on commercial due diligence, FDD and valuation teams and doing automation alongside. is it wise to demand higher salary or promotion soon after I have proven that I can work and do it better than most?EY

I know a guy at SF that is a CTA and he makes like 350k for a pretty chill role. Like 30-40 hours a week

Either Principal or Distinguished Solution Engineer I believe! Probably has some stock compensation
As someone who is very close to CTA - I saw CTA as something I can do (and am good at). What i’ve come to realize, is that while I can do the tech work. It is NOT what I want to do everyday all day. Prefer to be on the business side of things. If you want to do CTA it is a loooooong road (many years) and it will take all you’ve got (and then some). $$$ stops mattering when you hate going to work everyday.
I make about $300k total comp and would give up half that to do something I like that has a future...
Got it. Are you with Big 4 or boutique?
