Struggling to find a finance and accounting job for the last few months. After being out of the country for the past 10 years, I don’t have a strong network or connections to rely on. I have been surprised to hear from employers and recruiters that my overseas experience isn't considered valid work experience. Despite having managerial-level experience, I’ve applied for junior positions and often ghosted.
I would appreciate any advice or leads on opportunities to help bridge this gap.
