Might be an unpopular opinion but I’m not terribly thrilled with the new Halo Top ad. I’m all for body acceptance but part of the reason COVID hit the U.S. so hard is because of co-morbidities like obesity. There has to be a line btw “real” bodies and not celebrating a state that causes so many medical issues - Ie overweight without the medical definition of very obese. Do you think brands have gone too far in the other direction?

Hello moms! I have a covid baby and we have been lucky that LO hasn’t been sick. Yesterday I noticed I have the sniffles. I think it’s just allergies, and I covid tested to be safe and am negative. Baby + husband are fine with zero illness. What’s the protocol on telling a nanny about sniffles in the home? My husband thinks since baby isn’t sick we don’t have to say anything. But living in a covid world I feel like we need to disclose any sign of illness, even if it is probably allergies.

Do you get annoyed by people who say & think they are poor but aren’t? My husband’s dad always complains about money & being poor yet was making over 6 figures, retired, had a stay at home wife, multiple kids, and splurges on new cars or vacations. This makes my hubs think they grew up poor when they didn’t. In turn my family actually was poor and we were immigrants so it’s hard to hear being poor off over 6 figures when my parents never made close to that.

Real estate new construction post covid question: I bought a tear down home next to a university/hospital with plans to build a student house duplex (in total 9 bedrooms, 3.5 baths). Target renter=grad / medical school students. This was in Jan. With covid, the university classes for fall semester are all online... Hi all, I realize this isn’t a medical community but would still appreciate insights. I started Trintillix for anxiety / depression but ultimately insurance wouldn’t cover it. I switched to Wellbutrin and didn’t feel anything. I also now need to get off Wellbutrin because of some other medical things. What successes have people had for anxiety / depression? I have a history of eating disorders so really won’t take anything that might make you gain weight. Realize this is a tall order, but TIA.
