Switched jobs about a 1.5 months ago and I hate it. A $30K raise made me ignore red flags to meet my family’s financial goals (down payment for a home with “extra” income)
Both old and new jobs had a lack of structure or clear expectations for strategy, in both, account teams aim to over-please the client. I was able to deal with this because I had a great strat team, and great agency culture (diverse, caring) but this is non-existent where I am now. What would you do?

I’m currently in the process of being converted from contractor to permanent. In my initial conversations I was under the impression that I was in a different pay grade and asked for a salary 25k higher than the max allotted for my position.
