Not my text. But for real.

Due to financial reasons I will be passing away
Hi Guyz,
Any one from IBM ?
I went through the entire recruitment process and got selected for IBM ISL. Now I am being told by the HR that they are unable to release offer as there is a hiring freeze.
Can any one please tell me if its correct or just an excuse not to give me offer. If its true, when will this freeze be removed?

PBI because it’s free but Tableau is better
Nothing is free my friend.
Tableau still has the edge for beautiful visuals but overall Power BI does more right now and is the better complete package IMO. People saying Power BI cannot handle big data have clearly never used Power BI premium which handles enterprise self service reporting very well
Qlik
I’ve been developing data viz/dashboards at my new company (global retailer) in QlikSense and did not expect to see this comment. Even Oracle Analytics was better than Qlik. Tableau and PBI seem to deliver better user experience IMO.
Power BI!
Just integrate better
Power BI for reports, Tableau for live dashboards
Completely align with this!
Welp, tableau is dead. Smart of them to sell to salesforce.
5 years ago I would have said Tableau hands down. But today? PowerBI
PBI is horrible for data management and visualizing large datasets. Tableau on the other hand is great
^ obviously but if you have an immediate data pipeline into one or the other and HAVE to do data management/cleaning - tableau is better. Missed the point
I am a big fan of Power BI. Probably because I have more experience with it. I have gotten pretty used to M-Query and building dataflows, so I dont run into the problem of not being able to handle big datasets... but then again I dont really know at what point a dataset is considered "big"
Tableau
Power bi
Power BI ♥️
Power BI kills it with all the seamless integrations to our everyday apps such as Teams, SharePoint, excel, ppt, project, azure etc.
Going to throw out a third which I prefer. Apache Superset.
If you’re not a developer: PowerBI
If you’re: Superset
Pbi
Pick any. Execute responsibly !

I prefer Tableau because I’m more comfortable with it, but Power BI is better if you are starting with no prior experience or just want to pick up a data viz skill.

That’s really interesting. Personally I’ve found the BI interface to more intuitive when building/learning, but Tableau’s end-user interface to be cleaner (ie viewing a published dashboard).
It’s cool to see all the varying responses to this. My last two companies have been “legacy Tableau” but encourage new hires to learn BI and have great resources to get started.
Power bi
None of them can handle large volume of data. Use either of them for fancy reports. Overall Qlik is much better, but lacks fancy visualizations.
