Hey guys, I have the first short 15-minutes call with a product guy from Hugging Face today wherein he is likely going to take a guess at what roles I could be suitable for. I had applied for Post-Sale Machine Learning solutions Engineer. Is there anyone who’s gone through the process for a similar role at similar organisations or best case scenario would be if anyone has gone through the process with HF.

Do you think resume past behaviour is really a predator for future behaviour ? To me there has to be more psychological statistic on this to ring true as all work variable differ for each workplace, including performance expectations, tasks and evaluations.

Do you still implement reference checks (on top of background checks)? I’m not convinced of the value add to the selection process and it takes a lot of time and resources

Pretty sure the saga of the slave driven company has come to an end I’m the only HR person at this company. Friday I had full admin rights, and went to check email Saturday; account locked. Payroll/HRIS locked out. PEO service says no pending termination is on my file. Went to the office today to get my things just in case. Located in CA. Was about to report numerous violations too. All because I couldn’t solve 8 months of payroll issues in a day. 🫠 Good riddance, I’m getting a lawyer.

Hi. I was made redundant from Zendesk in August and looking for my next role. Im looking for a Senior Recruiter or Lead Recruiter role in Dublin Ireland. The market seems difficult for inhouse roles. Anyone looking for someone with my skillset?

I have two questions. I have 10 years of experience in multiple sectors and I have been trying to gain a leadership position. I am attempting my PHR this summer but what are some tips in order for me to obtain a leadership position? Also, how long does it take to obtain another position out of state? Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. I was hoping to get some thoughts on this from others? Thanks
