Friend had planned to quit in the next year anyway (to start their own business), so there is no real incentive to bend over backwards. Is there such a thing as too much notice? Could too much notice backfire?

How would you handle not getting a lunch break when you are a salaried employee treating patients for 40 hours a week? I don’t get documentation time either, but all notes are to be completed the same day. Some of us have reached out to HR and we’re told to discuss it with the regional director, but the regional director says we’d have to come in early or leave late to block out a lunch break. Hi, I applied for a BFSI domain consultant position at TCS through Linkedin. Next day two people took my interview and said they are good to go with my profile. I might have one more tech round and HR will contact. After 4-5 days HR sent Ibegin link to create my profile and update details. Then it's been 3 weeks no other update. Whenever I contact the person who took my interview he keep saying its in process please wait. Is it normal procedure in TCS? How long usually takes.

Interviewed on 12th August , got selection mail 2 days later asking to upload docs. The HR discussion has happened on 27th august and same day I did also receive CTC breakup(acknowledged same day).
Recently on 15th September , status in ibegin changed from evaluation in progress to evaluated

TCS have monthly , quarterly and yearly variable part in CTC. HR forgot to add half yearly variable. Any part of it can be changed to fixed before accepting offer letter? Or they only negotiate if have counter offer ?

Yesterday only during their press meet they told that they have honored all the offer letters last quarter...and today itself you can see so many delaying and postponing of joining cases in this group only....there must be something very wrong or messed up.

From 15th November will TCS employee need to report to "ODC Location"? If their "base location" and "ODC Location" is different; will they get deputation benefits i.e. "air ticket, tata quarter, deputation allowance"? Or will they forcefully transfer and change the base location without employee's consent?
