Tell me about your dating timelines. How long did it take you to go from dating to exclusive, to moving in, and getting engaged/married?

I recently joined Capgemini at 13.5 LPA along with 1 lakh as joining bonus. It was a jump from 6.5 and I have 4 YOE with 2 yrs in React JS
Two questions that's been bothering me -

Did I settle for less as I can see people taking even bigger jumps with less experience?

My joining date was 15 September, so am I eligible for upcoming appraisal as the annual review is due by October 14 and I have just joined a project?

Please share your insights as I have looked for advice everywhere else.

I’m a former forensic scientist that left the field several years ago. I recently received a subpoena from a case I worked and suggested to DA to have evidence re-worked by the lab or stipulation. If I am required to testify (as an expert witness), I would need to book a flight, hotel, etc. My question is this: can I ask for my requested hourly rate, travel, and hotel to be covered when speaking with DA or is that “not how this works” as the investigator put it?

Why are some people not into feet?

I know I will get hated by saying this. Do you think gay pride events are portraying a bad image about our community to public? Doctor rec’s? I was in DC before and I used to go to Whitman Walker, an LGBT focused primary care clinic, clean, efficient and friendly, and they understood the LGBT needs, like PrEP, very well, which is mainly what I need from my PCP. Is there such a thing in NYC?
