A friend of mine has been recruited in accenture for a position but post joining they haven't contacted him. Assigned him to a project but have not assigned him any role or responsibility. It been almost two months since he joined the organization . Can anyone kindly suggest what he has to do on this situation. Do he has to wait until someone reaches out to him, Or does he need to contact someone and ask them about his roles and responsibilities. He is a bit worried now.

I remember when I first started working on my thesis project. My adviser asked me to get some funding for it, but he didn't give me any advice about how to do that. He just told me that if I wanted money for my project, I'd have to go through some kind of committee process and submit an application for funding from them. Sure enough, after weeks of writing applications and waiting around for responses from the committee members (who were always too busy), I eventually got approved for funding!

Now the problem is with the current cmpny guys don't care about the work and the role isn't that challenging and don't see people take seriously abt work like loging quite late while the role requires to be in shift at right time.

Most likely getting fired, tips on how to find a job ASAP? I made a pretty big mistake that required supplemental filings with government offices to fix (missed some items when reviewing/comparing long lists of things across 20-30 years). It’s fixable and the client isn’t really getting hurt by this (worst case signing gets delayed), but my anxiety is telling me to prepare for the worst. Can I ask for extra time at the firm to find a new job (so I wasn’t “fired”)? Or should I go for severance?

Remote Onboarding question: I joined my company a little over two months ago, and I’m in a remote role. This is my first time onboarding remotely as I started at my last company pre-pandemic. Honestly, I’ve found it lonely so far. I’ve been trying to be outgoing and meet with everyone I can, but it so far feels like I have not been included as a full member of the team. My co-worker is so resentful and competitive because I was promoted over her last year which caused a demotion on her end. People in the company still go to her for things that should be for me but she rarely corrects them.
