Like come on man. How are you going to try to tell me that having an M7 advance degree doesn’t put me in the $140-150k range when I’m currently making that right now.
Deloitte recruiter over LI InMail: "your profile and extensive experience makes you a great fit for our role of Senior Consultant, when can we talk?" And she was persistent as well, I had to subtly ask her to check when was I at SC seniority. In 2009...
Me me me Deloitte Deloitte Deloitte
Maybe you should’ve used that “M7 advance degree” to go somewhere where you’re valued as opposed to somewhere where you have to “educate” recruiters?
Making 95K now three years out of college. Recruiter tried to convince me that I was dreaming and that I was only really making 50K so she could offer me 70K salary. Nope.
HAHAHHAHA. Here I am two years out of college thinking $95 is a great deal. Insane to think we’re even in the same sort of title group.
@SC1 Pay for a SC at Deloitte, specifically in the S&O group is different than your typical Big 4 Advisory SCs because we require 5 years of experience at minimum. Thus the compensation is also higher respectively (around that of advisory manager).
@P1 I did. It’s why I’m at Deloitte S&O. I couldn’t do MBB because I’m almost certain that the constant travel and workload would negatively impact my relationship. So S&O federal is pretty much the best I could do and still stay in consulting.
SA1, you called?
The Deloitte SC (even in S&O) pay band is very broad. That’s great you got that money, esp in Federal, considering there are Federal Ms and Specialist Masters who are making the same .
I may be wrong OP, but I think you’re in the upper percentile on this one.
I know I’m probably in the upper percentile for my level pay band wise. My point here is how are you going to reach out to me for a SC to SC level move in the "$90k range”. Even home grown SCs make more than that I think. Who would do lateral move title and salary wise.
Then when I say I’m above that, try to tell me your firm doesn’t pay xyz, when I’m already making it. And there’s publicly published salary data
Oh man MD1. The Deloitte recruiters are terrible.
