Hello All,
Any EY GDS PMO here?
Can someone kindly connect me with Investment Banking HR/Recruiter/anyone willing to help? My friend interviewed for Goldman Sachs NY. Cleared the HireVue but didn’t get any communication further. It’s been 4 weeks now. Although the referral came from a VO but the division is different. My friend is looking for Investment Banking division. Need to get in touch with someone from investment banking to push the resume. The rolling process is hurting the chances.Thank you Goldman Sachs

I’m currently experiencing the same thing. I’ve been applying to a few positions a month (I’m in a more niche practice area) and it’s frustrating to say the least. Also, this isn’t necessarily helpful but recruiters have left a very bad taste in my mouth…they act so excited and fake when they first reach out and then multiple have ghosted me once I send my resume or ask for updates via email. Very professional!

Take the emotion out of it. It’s a numbers game. Each job opening has dozens or even hundreds of applicants - most of which are not remotely candidates but apply anyway. You should evaluate how competitive your background is for each role as well; if your background and experience is not a clear fit, chances are you won’t progress through interviews or even get one. You should basically apply and forget and move to the next one though - don’t grow attached to any application.
I feel you. But still you need to be confident in yourself. Take the emotion part out of the process, keep going on, best of luck
