The ghosting has become so cringe. Like, I'm not one of those people who wants a rejection letter for every application. It's when a recruiter sets up time to call, hypes me up for a role, and tells me they should get back by next week—just to completely vanish even after I send a follow-up email. I've had this happen twice now in the last month with different agencies.

I get that you may not want to shut the door on potential candidates, but it's just so disrespectful. Be a human.

I agree but I’ve also been guilty of ghosting recruiters when I was at my busiest. We all get swamped sometimes. I try to not take it personally

Yup, experienced this. I even got as far as an actual interview with the teams for some… only to then be put back in the “I’ll get back to you” cycle when I followed up after. Feels like shit. I get people are busy, but if I get that far, the least you could do is just tell me the team went in a different direction.

I ain’t afraid of no ghosts

I love when they set a time for a call and then they don’t call or show up.

Hi, I'm an employee at a hotel chain who works remotely. I've been working remotely for over a year now and I love it! The company I work for is very supportive of remote workers, which is great.

But there's one thing that's been bothering me: it's hard to get feedback on my work when I'm not in the office. It would be great if there was some kind of system that let me know how my performance was being evaluated while I'm working on projects from home.

So my VP at my previous company felt bad and refused to speak to me or attend my farewell after my resignation. His reason was that I somehow betrayed his trust as he had promoted me just last year (after keeping the position open for 4 months and letting me take additional work load after the previous SM left!). Does this make any sense? I mean where does this sense of entitlement or ownership over the employees come from? No wonder the company in question is kind of facing a literal exodus!

How do you create the visual direction of a print campaign for example? Is it generally just about creating a mood board that sets the look and feel? Should it be specific (as in drawing or illustrating) with the pose and the framing?

Cause my thinking is more of the former where you give the photographer their own take of the idea. Curious to know how you do it.

Let’s say you were interviewing for a global client lead role - at the holding co level - for one of WPP, Omnicom or IPG.

If you had your pick of essentially the same role at all three of those holding companies which would you pick? Or not pick?

If you have any insight/two cents you up for sharing to help me out, thank you!
