The kind of feedback I struggle with most is the kind that sounds important but gives you nothing concrete to work with. Stuff like “be more polished” or “think more strategically” just leaves me sitting there trying to guess what they actually wanted. I’d honestly rather hear something blunt and useful than something polished and vague. I start overcorrecting in five directions at once. How do you respond when a manager gives feedback that sounds serious but is too fuzzy to act on?
