The more time I spend in an integrated role at a truly global agency/ hold co, the more I’m convinced this sh*t doesn’t work. Global scale takes away from relevance, meaning and adds layers of bureaucracy. Meanwhile, integration was challenging in 2019 when teams physically sat/met together. Fast forward to now: integration feels like pushing a boulder up Mt Everest. I see why people are dropping out to consult, coach and/ or create their own “place” in this wildly complicated space.

Interviewed for 2 jobs I am highly interested in. One offered the job already, but the other one hasn’t made a decision yet but should this week. I have until tomorrow to accept the offer but would like to work for the other company if the compensation package is better. Any advice? I don’t want to accept and then have to cancel, but there’s no guarantee the other job will hire me either. 😩

Hi! I am currently a Pre-sales CSA in Nokia with JG 11 total comp around 230k. I’m in the 3rd round of interviews with Radcom for a similar role. Does any one know how is the wlb in Radcom? Also what comp range they would have for a Senior Sales Engineer?

After i cleared all the rounds. HR told me- initially we were hiring for 2 positions one is filled already & other one is in hold due to recession. After 2 weeks i got a call from them asking me if i am still interested they have re-opened and now i am again waiting for the offer letter they said it will take 2 days for approval from finance

This just concerns me -
Will there be quality work after i join?
Do they really need me? Will my position be valued?
Should one join such a company?

6 months in and I already get the sense that my direct superior disdains me. Damn that was fast.

I’ve been so many places where everyone throws around comms planning, connections planning, and channel planning (and others) interchangeably. But then some folks say there’s nuance. Is there?

I just started at a new agency and learned that the entire agency has limited to no experience with comms planning but somehow merely the mention of a comms plan evokes a visceral reaction from multiple disciplines. I have 10 years of experience in social/digital/media and I’ve never experienced a stigma like this. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice?

After making it through all rounds of interviews at Apple, I was informed the comms planning role I am after was cut due to hiring freezes. That said, I am being offered a contractor role with potential for full time conversion if the role opens up. Any advice?
