I'm curious what the average salary is for an Associate Agent. I'm licensed & do everything after the sale is made as well as refer new business. I have 14 years in the industry but have been at the current company less than a year, so I know that plays a part as well. Anyone in a like-position by chance?State Farm Allstate Travelers

They’re absolutely needs to be a lot more oversight and consideration when it comes to AI. Particularly when it comes to the development of AI data centers and the risk AI poses to employment. However, we’re not going to get that regulation.
Have a few thoughts - am all for tightening regulation regarding use of LLMs/GenAI especially given that these models are not deterministic and effectively black boxes which obscure how inputs tie to the outputs. And unless you are training the model from scratch in-house, there is a large amount of uncertainty regarding what sort of data is being baked into the models in the first place, and no amount of prompting will fix that.
It is worth noting however, that machine learning is technically a subset of AI (hate this term more and more every day) and many companies have used GLMs or similar models for well over a decade and are far more transparent and generally not problematic in nearly the same way.
I would like to see something put in place, just with some flexibility. Overregulation would be the death of smaller companies, but we need some consistency. How long do you think it would take to move forward after a decision?
