There is another creative on my team who has this habit of having private discussions with the team leads and other stakeholders that somehow always lead to my ideas being killed in favor of theirs. Has this ever happened to anyone? Should I just sit back or take counter actions?

How do you call out a senior team for stealing your idea that you presented and wrote months after the project is done? I don’t want to be a dick, but these people are acting like they helped on something they didn’t help on, and I can’t wrap my head around ever doing something like that. I know getting credit for your work is important, how do you protect it from more senior teams? Do I just ask them why they’re doing it?
