I have got an offer of 24 fixed +2 variable from Verizon for an total experience of 11 years.

Work domain : openshift & kubernetes platform.

Is it acceptable offer or shall I negotiate with HR. ?

As a new product manager what books should I be reading? I’ve already read Inspired but looking or more. For context, I’ve joined a series A start up and as expected there’s a lot to do and it’s very fluid. Do AA 500 mile upgrade awards expire? I have used a decent amount of upgrades, but I still have 14 that I have been sitting for a about maybe 6-7 months. I do not see anything about them expiring, but I would not be surprised if they do.

Any advice on how to handle an ECD in charge of your salary who says the only way to get a promotion or even a COL raise of any kind is through winning an award? Not consistently reliable and solid performance. Not keeping the client happy and profitable. “You either win an award, or all ya get is to keep your job.”

How do I be a decent manager to a coworker who's upset I've been promoted twice in two years and they haven't? We started out as coworkers, became decent friends after a few good moments, but went back to simply coworkers after they flubbed a few projects and I had to step in to clean up.
