How do I pivot from a broker to any job in tech?
I'm curious what the average salary is for an Associate Agent. I'm licensed & do everything after the sale is made as well as refer new business. I have 14 years in the industry but have been at the current company less than a year, so I know that plays a part as well. Anyone in a like-position by chance?State Farm Allstate Travelers

Pro: you’re in good hands.
The pro and the con are that it’s a large company. You’ll have good company perks, benefits, and pay. Job security to at least some degree. The cons are very mixed reviews, for one person who would 10/10 recommend is somebody who will tell you to run far away. With so many people and offices, hard to know what you should expect.
It's a legacy heavyweight, and the brand recognition is an obvious advantage. You won't have to explain who you work for. It's also known for good training programs. A potential problem is that you'd only be dealing with Allstate products, so you don't have other options to offer someone. I remember hearing that some of their tech seems outdated, but that may have been resolved by now.
