Joined Cibersites India Bangalore in Jan 2021 which is now htc global. There was no CTC revision with March 2022 salary, and so far, no news of CTC revision. I know employees working for over 24 months with no CTC revision. My question is are the appraisal formalities mere formalities? I'm unhappy about the pay structure. For a 65k PM CTC, I hardly get 52k in hand. With rising inflation, and no salary revisions, it's just going to be difficult. Tenured employees, please advise. 😥

What is expensive to you (all in)?
That’s a really nice gift - I don’t follow the sub $1000 space too closely but maybe higher end tissot/seiko + Hamilton would work. If you go pre owned you could do Longines I think.
Style is tough and kinda personal so I’m not sure I could point you to a specific model in their respective lines.
Does it have to be watches? What about a nice luxury pen set or even high-end leather wallets? If they’re not watch enthusiasts, it might be worth considering getting something else they might enjoy.
If they’re not watch enthusiasts, I wouldn’t recommend watches. Even $1000 for people who won’t end up wearing it is kinda a waste. I’m definitely not saying you should, but I think it’s a little different if you were gifting something like a Rolex (any sport model) where even non watch people know what it is and can appreciate it.
I bought my dad a Batgirl last year and he definitely cried, but I knew he wore watches and I knew he liked Rolex. I honestly think if I had bought him an AP/Patek it would’ve had less effect because he’s not a watch guy, so he wouldn’t have known what it was on the spot, but I digress.
I’d personally go for something like a Michelin restaurant or something where you can go enjoy it with them and splurge on a meal or some other experience.
To clarify.. they wear watches.. just are not brand enthusiasts
Longines Dolcevita 32mm and 37mm. Will be slightly over budget but should be able to get both on grey market for ~$2500
