This ridiculous lowballing has to stop.

Unemployed during COVID-19

Hi,
I have joined ACTI a month back in Kolkata in L9. I wanted to opt for Company Car Lease policy just to save TAX but finding it too complicated.
I had raised queries to payrole and they have replied with a suggestion to think twice before opting for this benifit.
What do you all suggest, who have already opted for it?Accenture
Does anyone have experience with Ben Glass’s “Great Legal Marketing” programs? https://greatlegalmarketing.com
I ordered a free “starter kit” from his company and received a decent-sized box with some books and audio CD’s. Haven’t listened to the CD’s yet, but the books aren’t bad, with plenty of practical advice.
Now he’s running a promotion where you can get two months of his basic-level course for just $19.95 to cover the cost of shipping. It seems that Ben is one of the better-regarded legal marketing “gurus” out there.
Anyone Boston next week?
Would you work 11-8 shift?
What health/pharma agencies are in SF?

Talent agencies hold the pipeline. Generally the overall wage the client agency will be double the rate shown. While it’s better to go straight to the agency, will they offer the job to you? Or will they offer the job to a curated set of candidates. Agencies don’t have time to deal with creatives so they go to a recruiter. It sucks, but that’s the way business goes.
And some agencies’ finance departments don’t allocate resources needed to manage individual contracts on a person by person basis, so they are required to get freelance talent exclusively through staffing agencies and outsource that portion of staff required to do so. So freelancers are unable to get a direct contract entirely if that’s the case.
They do pay all the taxes, have your back as an hr team if the client is trying to get extra work out of you, they pay weekly, and offer benefits.
Holy cow. Insane! Just as a seasoned creative not managing anyone else I charge $100-$130 an hour and that’s probably cheap.
Geez I was charging $100 as an AD like 5 years ago

Well, it won’t stop until people stop taking these offers.
I’m getting reached by these temp agencies for in-house opportunities, not agencies. The rates offered are half what these brands are offering to pay. These brands are too lazy to do their their own recruiting.
Pro
Well it’s actually double, just these bottom feeders take half for themselves
This. We hired someone via Robert halff or whatever it’s called and she was actually getting like 1/4 of what we were paying them. She’s not onboarding to us and we were able to give her more $ and still pay less.
My rate at WK was senior level, full-time, 60/hr for a year, no benefits, and they still replaced me with 2 people with cheaper rates, somehow
What scandal happened to the CCO they brought in from the Tokyo office who only lasted for a short while?
Avoid recruiting sites like the plague.
Lmfao I was charging 200$ an hour freelance last year and I’m not even CD level. Who is taking these rates?!!
Sorry, were you expecting US Tech Solutions to be paying top dollar for creative services?
You guys see that full AI ad by Kalshi? Your days are numbered.
Now i know why WPP’s stock sank. They hire people like VMLY&R 1.
Hey, at least they're remote! Think of the 100/hour you're saving by not commuting!
If these are full time, they are not as bad as they seem. $60 x 40 hours x 52 weeks = $124,800 + benefits. Not awful. If they are part time, yeah. Bad.
It’s definitely more than I’d like to pay for health insurance but similar to equivalent tier marketplace plans.
Supply, meet demand.
