Completely and totally miserable at my firm and just need a space to vent because my friends are tired of hearing about it. I wish the worst part about it was the amount of work, rather than the completely toxic culture, lack of appreciation, arbitrary and back/breaking deadlines, lack of mentorship/feedback/training, and the fact that the associates act like they don’t even know each other. Hi fihes, need some urgent advice. I have an offer letter from IBM but they had given me joining location of Kolkata and DOJ 1st November. I want my location to be changed to Bangalore. Can I ask HR? Do they entertain such requests or will they revoke the offer?

Friendly tip: Don't burn bridges even with those who are leaving - our industry is small (even in Manhattan) and you will almost certainly see that person again if you stay in pharma

Word to all of you out there, if you trash talk other people within your industry (and clients), they will find out and they soon may be in a position to decide if they want to hire you. Happened to several people I know. When will people learn that egos and talking shit is so outdated. 🙄
