They are policies of each state, I think it is something that makes visible the nervousness of the police detachments in the city regarding violence.
Despite the fact that it is something necessary, it does nothing but mistreats, even more, the image that the people of NY have about the police, it is something difficult for the entire population to accept and personally, I think that it only gives more strength to the anti-police movement.
I feel that to make such an important decision, many studies had to be carried out, and everything indicated that the solution was the direct review of the citizens, it is a difficult job for the citizen but also for us as police officers.
Stop-and-frisk is an unconstitutional policy that disproportionately affects people of color. It's a way for the NYPD to harass and intimidate innocent civilians, and it needs to be stopped.
Personally, I think that New York City's stop-and-frisk policy is wrong. I don't think that the police should be able to stop someone just because they look like they might be up to something. I also don't think that it's fair that people who are stopped are often frisked, even if they haven't done anything wrong. I think this policy needs to be changed.
