I’m currently interviewing with a few top 10 firms and a couple top 100 firms for a mostly remote experienced associate/new senior role. Does anyone have any tips on virtual interviews and how to gauge the culture of the firm and if it really will be a good fit for you? I’m struggling to figure out that out because I used to gauge it on the feeling I got while in their office during interviews. Any suggestions would be helpful :)

Feeling very frustrated right now…company talks a big game about DEI internally, while requiring new hires to move to Texas/Arizona, while the company’s PAC donates to politicians pushing extremist, regressive, anti-woman and anti-LGBT laws

They want to encourage us to “bring our whole self to work” while putting us in situations where we can’t be our whole self.

What are salary rates for an Art Director in NYC these days? $90k $80k?

I’ve been having a super hard time concepting lately, especially knowing that the “concept” will mostly serve as a sticker to slap on the cover of a CVA and the top of a website. I'm SVP/strategy for a PR agency. I moved into PR, Healthcare, and Strategic Planning only 3 years ago. An agency recruiter is trying to convince me to move into a GSVP account role, assuring me "at that level it's all strategy." (I dont think she understands the words she's using. Or that I'm qualified). But long-term, knowing account roles are so much more plentiful than brand planning in PR, I'm wondering if I should start thinking about account. Anyone here moved from strategy to account?

Has anyone quit their job because of a relationship? I started my job 3 months ago and now my employer wants me to move to NY.
