Thoughts on splitting time between NY and FL as opposed to moving to FL? I can’t seem to be able to leave NY!!! It’s hard to let go. I thought about a trial year but it’s so hard to get back into NY I feel.

Question from a newbie consultant - What are some good online courses/ books to improve consulting skills?

A quick note about what I’ve experienced, in my decade long career, is the real advantage of MBB or FAANG - it gives you a shot at stretch roles that are outside your expertise. Not all the time or even most of the time compared to better candidates with specific experience for the role but gives you this wildcard shot at a vast array of opportunities.

Is white collar drug use (like cocaine) really as prevalent as it sounds? Maybe I’m just blind to it, but I feel like people talk about how drug dependent people in places like nyc are but haven’t witnessed it myself.

I duno about you guys, but one benefit of remote work is not having to listen to fellow consultants complain because they didn't get upgraded or they had some silly travel issue. 👍
