Any Hr people out there..my wife is going through a harassment case against her boss. He is retaliating against her and other staff. On going for years. Most recently she had to take a leave of absence. There is a formal investigation into him. What is the timeline this should take ? And should he be allowed to have 1on1 talks with other staff members?. He is in damage control now trying to buy everyone lunch and doing his own PR tour. My Dept has been tapped to help another dept promote a DEI study. The client dept has hired a consultant in this area. The challenges I see with this consultant's work style:

-dominating conversations
-micromanaging things outside her area
-steering things toward her own promotion over our company's agenda

A friend of mine from a top tier consulting firm was counseled out. Do you consider it ethical that his career counselor is intentially spreading the information to his colleagues and to other consultants from other companies in the project? What can he do about it? A quick note about what I’ve experienced, in my decade long career, is the real advantage of MBB or FAANG - it gives you a shot at stretch roles that are outside your expertise. Not all the time or even most of the time compared to better candidates with specific experience for the role but gives you this wildcard shot at a vast array of opportunities.
