No problem, I’ll elaborate and you can connect the dots. Sorry, long...
+ fun culture (lots of events, happy hours, outings - really invest in people enjoying themselves)
+ focus on giving back (do 1% donations, employee donation matching, pro-bono projects)
+ unlimited PTO
+ growing fast and allow employees ownership through ESOP
+ really good place to grow consultant > manager career fast
Considerations: employees expected to wear all hats (sell, do admin work, develop younger talent, execute on projects), Chicago is the hub of all things and remote offices often get shafted bc there’s a lot driven on relationships (and if you’re not in home office it’s hard to make them), ensure you still come in at high salary (don’t let esop fool you, could be worth 0 if something happens to company), varying strength of partners so I felt capped out on my learning, emphasis for growth in the company is ultimately office operations, not a strong partner presence on projects - leave it mostly to senior mgrs and managers to handle (both good and bad). Heavy tech company so if you’re not tech people don’t usually find success.
Overall - I loved my time there, great colleagues, grew a lot. I would never steer anyone away from the company (in fact referred a lot of people there), just should be aware of the considerations and determine if that would be a deal killer.
I came from there to Big4 - what city are you in? Makes a difference. Also, is your background technology or IT?
Technology or Information Technology...trick question?
Worked in tech before moving to consulting, so have a pretty solid tech foundation. Rather not say which city. Is there a big difference between offices?
I also went from there to B4, it’s a pretty good option, salary is low
