Ok be honest, candidates. I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. But the questions almost feel too deep for a recruiter to ask. What would you think if a recruiter took a different path and asked these questions instead of the usual ones?

Tumi
BR. Also, Steph Korey sounds like a jerk.
Briggs only. Away isn’t good
D2 look at Seiko or Hamilton or Orient.
BR
Briggs & Riley - design + warranty cannot be beat.
When you say design ... I think you mean functional design. Cuz it looks like 🤮
I own an Away (medium - checked bag) and two BRs (hard shell sympatico and the soft side baseline - both carry ons).
BR has a superior compression system, the lifetime warranty, and overall better durability.
I prefer the Hinomoto wheels on the Away that provide slightly smoother roll on flat surfaces.
However, if you like to pack your bag to the seams, the away handle will struggle to go up and down easily. The BR handle is on the outside of the suitcase so you avoid that issue.
Overall go BR and don’t look back.
Briggs
Got to know a guy who is one of the few remaining licensed repair places for most of the main brands. Has been repairing luggage for 30 years. For his money he said Tumi makes a great case But that you really cannot beat Briggs and Riley because of the warranty
