McKinsey & Company Starting in the McKinsey London office soon and essentially need to buy a new wardrobe. Any advice on what I should prioritise?? Was going to buy a couple nice suits and shirts etc, but someone told me no one wears suits anymore and to buy chinos and quarter zips instead?

Ignore him, he will die soon
Off with his head! Men are the worst.
You could try talking to him? Whenever I feel like people have an issue with me I just say hey it seems like you have an issue with me. Usually get a useful response. Depends on a lot of things though. How senior is he? Is he your boss? Could your manager help you out? Etc...
i usually try to be EXTRA prepared for meetings with such GWM (gross white men). I try to not let them speak over when when i can. something i read recently is to let them finish and then continue your point. Also, if he is not including you I would sit down with him and let him know what you would like to be included in, why you’re capable and why it will help him/yourself/the agency. If he’s your direct boss look for other women leaders to have as mentors who can assist in your advancement or potentially get you working with a new boss who isn’t a GWM
Be so good he can't ignore you (or whatever that quote is). I had an old white lady treat me that way recently and that reminded me, it's not just dudes. 🤷🏽♀️
A stiff punch to the urethra generally does it
Kick him in the dick.
Tell HR the meeting is happening and why. Leave it up to them to decide if they need to be there.
Point out his race and gender as the opener of your confrontation with him 👍
Quit and find new job. You can’t win with them and they don’t deserve your talent. Yes it’s unfair that you have to move. But ultimately you will come out on top.
Update: this 👴🏻 old man was talking to me so rudely in front of a group of junior people without understanding what’s going on! I called him out and now he wants to have a meeting. Should I include HR in this meeting?
