MBA won’t be counted probably, but 7yrs of consulting experience would put you at L7, not L9.

Fairly wide band based on relevant experience. 120-145 range base

Artificial Intelligence or Applied Intelligence? Agree with A2, MBA probably won’t factor in much. Depends what the YOE actually entail, but L9 seems potentially wrong if you have reasonable coding/analytics/data science experience and have been doing that specifically for 7 years.

Hey! Can anyone assist with what can be claimed as workers comp? I was at work when I had my first episode of vertigo. Everything was spinning, wouldn't stop, and I couldn't stand or sit. I was freaking out and asked to be rushed to ER. Work paid for the ambulance. No physical injury. Insurance apparently didn't cover emergency charges. The out of pocket expense is about $2.5k and was wondering if I can claim this as workers comp. Again, no physical injury though.

300k/yr combined income (before tax, assuming no bonus), 900k debt in two properties (the main one 620k, rental property $280k). 16 months of reserving fund in case we both lose jobs and no one rents the rental property. Worried about the economy downturn, debating whether to sell the rental properties. Thanks for the advice.

Is the main advantage of applying to mba early simply to literally start making more sooner? Is it easier when you’re younger? I’m fortunately not in a rush to apply and I think next year my app will be stronger, my income is not gonna be much higher post mba, I’ll have another promotion, better recs, and less debt to take on. What am I missing?

I am seriously just trying to get clarity and not do any bashing. Why do all my MBA friends (every single last one, sample size-8) who went to Deloitte hate it there? They won’t tell me why (I think between confidentiality and sadness) other than that they hate it. My friends in other places seem to have mixed opinions.

Thinking about exiting consulting with 2YOE and would love to get perspective on what people felt like was the most important aspects to optimize for early in their career/life that has set them up for success in the long term - e.g. good manager, learning opportunities, level of ownership/responsibility, comp, or even better WLB to figure out their interests

Decided that I’m leaving audit today. Trying to understand the full range of opportunities in forensics. Will have my CPA and CFE. So far, I understand that there are client-serving firms like FTI and then the B4 will have forensics arms as well. What are some other forensic accounting roles? Pros and cons? Better than audit? Honestly just looking to learn anything.
