Today I complete 7 years of working in IT industry and I want to share my compensation history.I am 33 now, year 2014 Nov I left my job as bartender/chef making $15/hr because after 3 months of prep I cracked my first software analyst job. From that point to today here’s a summary of my job title and comp
Analyst 2 yrs ($35/hr)
QA lead 1 yrs ($50/hr)
Proj. Manager 2 yrs ( $98k/year)
Mgr.- Consulting 2.3yrs 125k/year)
Senior Manager - (200k/year)
I will post things I learn and observations below

I currently make 78k at Lockheed but I’m not doing what I’d like to be doing and i felt stuck and after many conversations with my manager and no solution in sight, I started applying elsewhere. I just recently got an offer from a smaller AI company for 95k that I plan to accept. I’m happy to make the jump, I just don’t know how my manager/coworkers will react when I tell them I’m leaving.

This will be my first time for increment cycle in IBM india. May I know how much I should be expecting or consider as a good numbers in hike of my salary?
