Becoming less and less interested in continuing with the CPA exam. Staff 2 studying for a year with 0 exams passed. What're my options without finishing? I don't think I will actually be able to pass.......

Don't think like that. You can and you will pass the CPA. Change your strategy, maybe take some time off just to study. Change your preparation course, I heard Ninja helps. Take classes in person if the online lectures don't work for you.
You only fail when you stop trying! Take those exams as many time as you can until you pass them.

like

Your options are what you see yourself doing in the future. While my first mind says keep going and don't give up, I have to ask how badly do you actually want this because it's not for everyone and if your intent is go in a field such as internal audit or IS audit, you don't need a CPA there are other certifications you can get. If you want to be in tax forever maybe try the EA exam....but as others said your strategy may be wrong. Ask yourself have you actually been committing to this or are you winging it? Working a full time job and studying isn't easy and if you're ready to give up with nothing passed I can tell you that it doesn't get easier half way through and then you fail an exam, the threat of wasted time just becomes more real

like

Take a few months off and refocus. Listen if you didn't pass 1 it means I out either aren't learning the material or your strategy is wrong. If you aren't learning the material then you're in the wrong field. Don't take offense to it but you should have retained enough info from school, your studying, and job to the point where at least you probably should have passed Audit or REG

I just imagine my exit options will be very limited with cpa. It's a very important credential for those gone to accounting major. I had to give up a lot of social life and activities I like to do. It feels so lonely at time, but focus and you'll see the passing score. Also don't compare yourself to others. I used to do it w the cpa exam and found myself very unhappy at the end. I'm now just trying to compete w myself n be better than yesterday.

I mean without cpa the exit options are limited*

Bit of a niche topic: I’ve been in TS/SCI processing for a Science/Tech/Weapons analyst position with the CIA for 3 yrs since I finished grad school in chemistry, but CIA positions are sort of set it and forget it since they can take so long. I’ve since been focused on a Patent Attorney track and am with a firm that will support me taking the patent bar/law school. If I get through processing and go to the CIA for some time, do you think would I be accepted back into patent law later on?

Hi guys, I have got one full time job for 14LPA from 10.5LPA in Coforge for BA role. On the other hand, I have one more offer for Canada and the job is on 2 years contract basis with 80k CAD per annum where I have to sign 2 years agreement as well that I can’t back out once I get the offer. I was interested to go CA but scared in terms of job security, economic slowdown and a big change. Is it worth going to CA on contract basis job declining the full time opportunity in India.

I'm two thirds through the PMA Core Certification, and the info is great but the tests are a joke. They need to contract with an educator that specializes in testing and assessment to come in and develop exams that actually measure if you know the material. The bad test design devalues the certification. Not to zero, but I definitely will not be proud to have earned it. It just means I had $1300 and sat through 15 hours of video lectures.
