Thank you all for your patience. I do appreciate it. It turns out having a side project while running multiple proposals is a trifle challenging. That said. I’m posting a first subset of the rawish data. In all close to 500 people took the survey, but a majority were from the Big Four. Here is the data from Deloitte, EY, KPMG, and PWC. Insights to come! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/1lN6JrxQfvA_MC4XFZ38G0ppQkBuxRv9mf88Y8NE2X2U/htmlview
Hello Guys,
I joined Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?
As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

I was in the same spot 2 years ago, I despised going on LinkedIn, seeing updates from people making job changes, playing the game and checking all of the boxes. It seems impossible to ever see yourself working again. And it’s hard times have the energy to do anything other than try to get a job. With my little motivation I tried to do my own projects to show people I was still growing and making stuff and when I finally got a job they admitted that those projects were the ones that won them over, not the client work in my portfolio.
It’s the worst advice but something always ends up working out. Even if you just need to try something completely new, you’ll always have your skills and can use them on the side or in the future. Keep your head up.

It’s really hard right now.
Advice is to spend equal time (as applying) letting people you already know - that you’re looking and what you’re looking for.
I was about a year and close to 90 applications. Custom resumes and cover letters. Most for jobs I could do in my sleep. It’s kafkaesque.
I’ve been in the same spot.
8 months post layoff, almost 50 interviews, a pair of last rounds, tons of unfortunatelys, only three gigs.
And the exact same feeling.
